Adelman was appointed by Judge Harry G. Comerford to the commission to study the Circuit Court of Cook County and make recommendations on areas of improvement (1984-1988). Also includes materials pertaining to Adelman's involvement with women's and environmetal issues, including correspondence pertaining to the North Shore Bird Club and the Calumet Commission.
